Kunigunden Chapel

The Kunigundenkapelle is a church ruin dedicated to Saint Cunigunde. It is located at the edge of the forest above the vineyards near Bullenheim in Middle Franconia.

According to legend, the construction of the chapel goes back to a vow made by Cunigunde of Luxembourg. The late Gothic chapel was built in the 15th century and destroyed in the Thirty Years' War. It was used as a place of pilgrimage until the 18th century. The entrance gate and two Gothic window frames have survived to this day.
