Brandeck Castle (Ruin)

Brandeck Castle is a lost castle 1800 meters southwest of the town of Dornhan in the district of Rottweil in Baden-Württemberg. It is located at an altitude of around 640 meters above sea level.
Built by the Lords of Brandeck no later than the 11th century, the castle was mentioned in the 12th century. Remains of a shield wall are still preserved from the former castle complex.
