Rittergut Ober Girbigsdorf (Kästnergut)+
The Rittergut Ober Girbigsdorf (Kästnergut) is the oldest manor in Girbigsdorf and was owned by Hans Frenzel. In 1571, ownership transferred to Jakob von Schachmann. In 1880, the manor house was rebuilt into its current form. In 1882, ownership transferred to Woldemar Kästner, in whose family possession the estate remained until the forced expropriation and expulsion in 1945 by the communists. After 1945, apartments were set up in the manor house.
