The Manor House Nöbdenitz+
The manor house Nöbdenitz was built in 1782 by the Lords of Thümmel. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
Architecture and Construction+
The manor house is a two-story building with a mansard roof. The facade is structured by pilasters and cornices. A central risalit with a triangular gable emphasizes the main entrance.
Interior Design
Inside, some original stucco ceilings and wall paintings have been preserved. The representative hall on the ground floor is particularly noteworthy.
History of Use+
After 1945, the building served various purposes, including as a school and a residential building. In the 1990s, it stood empty for a long time and fell into disrepair.
Current Situation and Future+
In 2000, the manor house was acquired by a private investor and extensively renovated. Today, it houses apartments and commercial units. The goal is to make the building accessible to the public again in the future, for example through cultural events.
