History of the Manor House+
The Mittelmosel manor house was built in 1559 by Georg von der Mosel after an inheritance division within the von der Mosel family, who owned several manor houses in Mosel. The property changed hands in 1791 to Christian Heinrich Petzold, in 1793 to the Richter family, in 1829 to Ludwig Ferdinand Petermann, and in 1855 to Johann Adolf Porst. Several changes of ownership followed thereafter. Today, the manor house is in private hands.
