Lüttewitz Manor

The Lüttewitz manor house was built in the 16th century. In 1612, the estate was owned by Hans Leupold von der Soleno. After this, ownership changed in 1628 to the von der Sahla family, in 1642 to Georg Caspar von Saalhausen, in 1655 to the von Holleufer family, around 1700 to Melchior Christoph von Schlottheim, and in 1709 to Rudolph Heinrich von Nostitz. In 1715, the latter had the current manor house built on the walls of a predecessor building. After this, ownership changed in 1763 to Mrs. Erdmuthe Wilhelmine von Breitenbauch, in 1791 to the gentlemen of Mangold, in the 19th century to Mr. Richter, and in 1884 to the Mummert family. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the manor house served as a school.
