Lucklum Manor

The showpiece of the former commandry and later manor is the manor house with the Knights' Hall, which was furnished around 1740. The current manor house was built on the predecessor building after the destructions in the Thirty Years' War. The commanders in Lucklum maintained close ties with the Brunswick princely house in Wolfenbüttel and Brunswick. Therefore, oil paintings of the Brunswick dukes and their consorts from Duke Anton Ulrich to Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand hung in the Knights' Hall. Further portraits showed depictions of the Grand Masters and Deutschmeisters of the Order, Lucklum Knights of the Order, and all Lucklum Landkomturs. In 2010, the 57 portraits from the Knights' Hall were auctioned off. The proceeds were intended to flow into the renovation and securing of the buildings.

Next to the Knights' Hall are a billiard room with colorful wallpaper and two salons, the "Duke's Rooms," where the Brunswick dukes often stayed.
