Kreipitzsch Manor

The Kreipitzsch Manor House was built between 1625 and 1628.

The manor house, a two-story building with a hipped roof, was built by the von Bünau family. It served as their residence and administrative center for the surrounding estates.

Over the centuries, the manor changed hands several times, passing through the possession of various noble families, including the von Schönberg and von Bose families.

Architectural Features

The building exhibits typical features of Renaissance architecture, including decorative gables and a prominent portal. Inside, some original stucco ceilings and wall paintings have been preserved.

After extensive renovations in the late 20th century, the manor house now serves as a cultural center and event venue. It hosts concerts, exhibitions, and private functions.

A part of the building is also used for residential purposes.

Surrounding Area

The manor is surrounded by a historic park, which was redesigned in the 19th century in the style of an English landscape garden. The park features old trees, winding paths, and a small pond.
