Hirschfeld Manor

Hirschfeld Manor

To be privately owned

Hirschfeld was first mentioned in a document in 1158. The name-giving family is that of the von Hirschfelds, under whose feudal lordship the settlement developed from the manor house there since 1241. The current manor house was built at the beginning of the 18th century on the walls of a previous building. Until their expropriation and expulsion by the communists in 1945, the manor was owned by Mrs. E. von Posern. After 1945, the manor house served as a residential building and boarding school. In January 2008, Konrad von Posern was able to buy back the old family property.
