Die Anfänge
The place was first mentioned in 1374 as Halbindorff. A manor house was first mentioned in 1565 as being owned by the von Hertzberg family. Ownership changed in 1796 to Christian Conrad Gerathewohl, in 1860 to the Lords of Polenz, and in 1879 to the state. After 1945, the house served as the municipal administration.
