Ebersbach Manor

To be privately owned

Herrenhaus Ebersbach+

A manor house in Ebersbach was first mentioned in a document in 1198 as being in the possession of Petrus de Eversbach. In 1309, Heinricus de Eberspach was mentioned in a document. In the 17th century, the estate was owned by the von Bieberstein family. Several noble owners followed. The last owner was Hermann Vogelsang, who transformed the estate into a model agricultural enterprise. He was dispossessed and expelled by the communists in 1945. The manor house dates from the 18th century and was rebuilt in 1922. In 1990, the collective farm ceased operations and the property passed into private hands. So far, he has not been able to stop the decay of the manor.
