The Baschütz manor house dates back to a manorial seat from the 11th century. During this time, ownership changed to the Lords of Pannewitz zu Königswartha, the Lords of Nadelwitz, the Lords of Penzig, and the Schlichtigk family. In 1593, the estate was owned by Rudolph von Rechenberg. In 1643, the mayor of Bautzen, Dr. med Andreas Bernhard Lehmann, purchased the property. Further owners were Mrs. B. E. von Nostitz in 1666, Dr. Elias Lehmann in 1633, and Johann Cubasch in 1776. The current manor house was built in 1880 on the walls of a previous building. Around 1900, the estate was owned by H. C. Falke. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After 1989, the manor house was renovated several times.
