Palais Reichenbach

The Reichenbach Palace was commissioned by the banker Ernst Ludwig Reichenbach and completed shortly after his death in 1881. He left the palace and a large inheritance to his son Otto Ferdinand Armeck-Reichenbach. When the latter also died 10 years later, the property passed to the local association of farmers. The "House of Farmers" was expropriated by the communists in 1945 and used by the young pioneers. Even after reunification, it could be used as a youth center until 2004.
