Palais Ludwig Ferdinand (Alfons-Palais)+
The Palais Ludwig Ferdinand (Alfons-Palais) is located on Wittelsbacherplatz in Munich. It was built in 1825/26 by Leo von Klenze and inhabited by him for 25 years. From 1878, it belonged to Princes Alfons and Ludwig Ferdinand of Bavaria.
After significant destruction in World War II, it was renovated and rented in 1949 to the company Siemens & Halske, where it initially served for vehicle fleet and casino operations. In 1957, Siemens acquired the building from Ludwig Ferdinand's heirs. Today, the administration of Siemens AG has its headquarters there.
