The Cappel Estate+
In Cappel stands the Hofgut, a palace that, together with a park, was built in 1736 by Count Johann Friedrich I as a small orangery castle. The originally fully glazed south side was replaced after 1800 by today's classical front with round-arch windows. In the 19th century, the princely house sold the palace, park, and associated land; subsequently, additional farm and residential buildings were constructed.
