Baugeschichte und Besitzerwechsel
Das neue Schloss wurde unterhalb der Burg von den Grafen Saurau erbaut und 1817 fertiggestellt. 1870 wechselte der Besitz an die Grafen Goess. Später diente es als Sitz der Malteser-Kommende. Der einfache langgestreckte zweigeschossige Einflügelbau hat hofseitig im Erdgeschoss Arkaden. Im Hof ist das Wappen der Saurau-Teuffenbach angebracht. Heute dient das Schloss als Heimatmuseum.
