History+

The first documented mention of Mensinge Manor dates back to 1330. For a long period, from 1480 to 1721, the estate was owned by the von Ewsum family. In 1728, the current manor house was built by the Kymmell family. Jan Wilmsonn Kymmell inherited the estate in 1818, and his descendants continued to own it until 1985, before it was sold to the municipality of Roden.
