Weichs Abbey

Weichs Monastery - Theresia-Gerhardinger-Realschule was an institution of the Poor School Sisters in the municipality of Weichs in the district of Dachau in Upper Bavaria (Bavaria).

In 1852/53, the educator Willibald Baustädter acquired the decaying castle in Weichs and the associated lands. He had the castle rebuilt and handed it over to the Poor School Sisters for the founding of a monastery and a preparatory school for teachers.
