Gräfrath Abbey
Gräfrath Abbey was a convent of Augustinian canonesses founded in 1187 in the Gräfrath district of Solingen. It was dissolved in 1803. It was a daughter foundation of Vilich Abbey near Bonn. The monastery building and the monastery church St. Mariä Himmelfahrt burned down in 1686. They were rebuilt in 1704.
Today, the German Blade Museum is housed in the building.
