Cham Abbey
The Cham Monastery is a former monastery of the Franciscan Reformists in Cham, Bavaria, in the Diocese of Regensburg.
The monastery, dedicated to St. Bonaventure and later to the Mother of God, was founded in 1631 by Archdeacon Johann Wolfgang Hueber; it was dissolved in 1802 during the secularization. The church temporarily served as a warehouse (until 1866). In 1856, a girls' secondary school run by the Poor School Sisters moved into the monastery buildings.
