The hunting lodge was built around 1800. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
Architectural Features
The lodge is a prime example of late Baroque architecture, characterized by its symmetrical facade and ornate detailing. The original design included a grand ballroom and several guest suites, reflecting the aristocratic lifestyle of its first inhabitants.
Restoration Efforts+
After decades of neglect, comprehensive restoration efforts began in 2005. The aim was to restore the lodge to its original splendor, using traditional materials and craftsmanship.
Current Use
Today, the hunting lodge serves as a cultural center and museum, open to the public. It hosts various exhibitions and events, offering visitors a glimpse into its rich history.
