Hubertus Castle

The Hubertus-Schlössl is a manor house on the Rosenberg in the third district of Graz, Geidorf. Built in 1590, the Hubertus-Schlössl stands on the slope of Graz's Rosenberg. In the fourth quarter of the 19th century and in 1904, two extensions were added to the existing building fabric. The wrought-iron gate wings of the manor are dated "1778". The grille wing in the stairwell, also made of wrought iron, dates from the third quarter of the 18th century. On the first floor of the Hubertus-Schlössl, there are profiled wooden beam ceilings from the construction period. The two stucco ceilings with rocaille forms on the second floor date from 1745/50. Among other things, the Eye of God is depicted on them.
