Troischau Manor

Troischau is located directly next to Rosswein and possesses, somewhat secluded, a manor with a proud mansion. A knight's seat has been documented at this difficult-to-access location since the 13th century. The multi-story, baroque mansion towers high into the sky. Johann Wilhelm von Auerswalde owned the manor since 1718. In 1730, the mansion was built for him. In 1812, the estate came into the possession of Christian Ernst Lucius from Rosswein. He altered the building and gave it its current appearance. In 1825, the estate and its associated agriculture were handed over to Ernst Schubart from Dresden, who did not have to relinquish it in 1945 due to the small land area. The family kept the estate until 1995. Already after 1991, the buildings began to decay. The estate was sold to the Schlegel family, who lovingly renovated the mansion in 2006. In the future, a country hotel is to come to life within it.
