Stroga Manor

Herrensitz Stroga+
History+
The Stroga manor house north of Grossenhain was only built in the 20th century, even though its architectural style suggests the 18th century. Previously, a knight's estate was located here, which belonged to Zabeltitz. In 1889, however, the Stroga estate was split off and came into the hands of a bourgeois estate owner named Lieber. In 1927, the manor house was built for his son. A relief above the entrance and the balcony on the garden side are interesting. After 1945, the knight's estate was converted into a public estate. Today it belongs to an Italian owner with the sonorous name Giovanni Benelli.
