Stora Ek Manor
The mansion Stora Ek is about eleven kilometers south of the Swedish city Mariestad. Stora Ek was first mentioned in the 1462. In the 18th Century the owners were the family Scheffer, who built the present mansion from 1768 to 1778 by architect Jean Eric Rehn. Stora Ek was declared a cultural monument in 1967.
