Spinngut Manor (Holtendorf)

The manor house in Britzke is a two-story plastered building with nine axes and a mansard hip roof. The central three axes are accentuated by a classicist portico with four columns and a triangular gable. The building was constructed in the middle of the 18th century. In 1817, the estate was owned by Mr. von Britzke. In 1910, extensive renovation work was carried out under Hans Spinn, which significantly altered the interior of the house. After the expropriation in 1945, the estate's lands were divided among new farmers. The manor house then served as a machine lending station, kitchen, and canteen. Today, the manor house is empty and awaits a new purpose.

The manor house is a prime example of Baroque architecture, even if later alterations have left their mark. The stately facade with its classicist portico gives the building a representative character. Inside, some original details, such as stucco ceilings and wall paneling, have been preserved, even if they are in need of restoration. The spacious rooms offer a variety of possibilities for future use.

The manor house is surrounded by a spacious park, which was probably laid out at the same time as the house. Although the park has been neglected in recent decades, its original structure with old trees, winding paths, and a pond is still recognizable. The park offers a tranquil retreat and has the potential to be restored to its former glory.

Today, the manor house is owned by a repair and sales company for construction machinery and vehicles. The manor house itself is empty and in need of extensive renovation. Despite its current condition, the manor house in Britzke offers great potential for various uses, be it as a residential building, a hotel, a cultural center, or an event location.
