Rott Manor (Kriegsdorf)
Haus Rott is a former manor house in Troisdorf.
The first record of Haus Rott, a castle complex with an extensive wall and moat system, dates back to 1289. On August 28, 1418, Cologne troops destroyed the castle of the knight's seat of the Lords of Deutz-Rott. After this event, presumably only the outer bailey (steward's house) was still managed, which can still be visited today as a manor house. Remains of the residential tower and the fortifications also still exist.
Today, the building serves as the home of the Reit- und Fahrverein Troisdorf e.V. (Riding and Driving Club Troisdorf) and the Tennis Club Troisdorf Haus-Rott e.V.
