Oppeln Manor

The history of the manor house is long and eventful. The first documented mention dates back to 1345, when it was referred to as a "Vorwerk" (outlying farm). Over the centuries, the property changed hands many times and underwent various transformations.

The current appearance of the manor house is largely shaped by the construction around 1780 under Gottfried von Gersdorff. At that time, the building was designed in the Baroque style, which is still evident in many details today. Later alterations and additions, particularly in the 19th century, added elements of Classicism.

Today, the manor house is partially rented out, but is in urgent need of renovation. Extensive restoration measures are necessary to preserve the historic building for future generations. Efforts are currently underway to find investors and develop a sustainable utilization concept.
