The historic building, a former manor house, is located in the heart of Obersohland. Its origins date back to the Middle Ages, although the exact date of construction is unknown. The first documented mention of the building dates back to 1672.

  • Obersohland I remained in the possession of the von Uechteritz family until 1810

  • Today in private ownership (belongs to a grandson of the last owner, Göbel)
