From Strategic Outpost to Manor House
In 1599, Wolf Ernst von Wolframstein founded the strategic outpost of Nickelsdorf for Crossen Castle. Jakob Heinrich, Imperial Count von Flemming, rebuilt many of the farm buildings of the three-sided courtyard in 1725. After years of vacancy, the manor house began to be converted into a youth meeting center in 1998.
