Haus Neuenhoven+

Haus Neuenhoven is an old, former moated castle located in the municipality of Jüchen, Neuss district. First mentioned in documents 600 years ago, the estate has been owned by the Essers family for 150 years. The village of Neuenhoven got its name from this estate, because according to tradition, people always spoke of the "nöje Hoff" (new farm) or the "nöje Huus" (new house) when referring to Haus Neuenhoven. Over time, the adjacent village was then named Neuenhoven.
