Kospoda Manor

Herrenhaus Kospoth+
Geschichte+
Die Anfänge
As early as the 13th century, the Lords of Kospoth are said to have built a stone house with a surrounding moat on the site where the present manor house stands. In 1804, a classical conversion took place, followed by another in 1894 in the current Neo-Renaissance style. Between 1865 and 1892, the park was laid out and subsequently extended. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists.
Jüngere Geschichte
In 2006, the Arbeiterwohlfahrt moved out of the building, and in 2009, renovation work began.
