Köttewitz Manor

Köttewitz is located close to the new A17 motorway, directly at the Pirna exit. The rather simple building with a hip roof was probably built in the 17th century. The families von Bünau, von Buchner and von Carlowitz are mentioned as owners. In 1870, the royal family acquired the estate. After 1918, the manor house came into bourgeois possession. In 1939, the building was lavishly furnished. In 2002, the house was renovated. Unfortunately, this furnishing was lost during the renovation. Today, the house belongs to a nursing home complex.
