Kalchau Manor

The manor house was built on the walls of a predecessor building in the mid-18th century.

The current appearance of the manor house dates back to the18th century, when it was extensively renovated and redesigned in the Baroque style.

The Owners

The manor house has been owned by various noble families throughout its history. Among the most famous owners were the von Billerbeck family, who owned the manor house for over 200 years, and the von der Schulenburg family, who acquired the manor house in the 19th century and had it extensively renovated.

The manor house is a two-story building with a hipped roof and a central risalit. The facade is decorated with rich stucco work and sculptures.
