Hilbersdorf Manor

The Arnsdorf manor house is a two-story, plastered building with a mansard hip roof. The main facade is accentuated by a central risalit with a triangular gable. The risalit is adorned with pilasters and a stucco relief depicting the coat of arms of the von Warnsdorf family.

The manor house was built in the second half of the 18th century by Sophie Erdmuth von Warnsdorf. In 1789, the estate passed to the von Nostitz family, who owned it until 1945. After the expropriation, the manor house was used for various purposes, including a school, a kindergarten, and a residential building. After the reunification, the manor house was sold to Stadtgut Görlitz GmbH and privatized in 2002. Since then, it has been vacant.

The interior of the manor house has largely been preserved in its original state. Of particular note are the grand staircase, the ballroom, and the various salons.

The Arnsdorf manor house has been vacant since 2002 and is in need of renovation. The current owner is looking for an investor to restore the manor house and give it a new use. The manor house offers a variety of potential uses, such as a hotel, a restaurant, a cultural center, or a residential building.
