Gervershagen Manor (Marienheide)

Gervershagen is mentioned in 1289 as a Cologne allodial estate. In the 17th century, the Lords of Neuhoff, called Ley, acquired it through marriage from the von Möllenbeck family. Still in the 17th century, the Counts of Schwarzenberg bought it. In the 19th century, the Count of Merveldt sold the estates belonging to Gimborn, including probably Gervershagen, which after repeated changes of ownership became the property of the Counts of Spee zu Schloss Heltorf around 1870. Nothing remains of the defensive structures. The 18th-century manor house is a two-story, plastered quarry stone building with a half-hipped roof.
