Evensen Manor

The manor house dates back to a feudal estate of the Lords of Mandelsloh from the year 1223. In 1701, the estate was rebuilt by the von Denicke family.

The Main Building

The main building, a two-story plastered brick structure with a mansard roof, was constructed in 1701. The central projection on the garden side, crowned by a triangular gable, is particularly striking. Inside, a grand staircase and several rooms with original stucco ceilings from the Baroque period are preserved.

The Chapel

The chapel, built in 1703, is an important part of the complex. It features a richly decorated altar and a pulpit from the early 18th century. The stained glass windows depict scenes from the life of Jesus.

The Park

The manor park, laid out in the 18th century, invites visitors to stroll. It contains old trees, a pond, and various sculptures. A special highlight is the rose garden, which blooms in full splendor in summer.

Today, the manor house is privately owned and is used for various cultural events, including concerts, exhibitions, and readings. Parts of the building can also be rented for private celebrations.
