History of the Manor House+
In 1843, a manor house in the Tudor Gothic style was built here by master builder Theodor Krüger for the Christian Wilhelm Engel family. From 1898, the estate was a stud farm owned by General von Schmidt-Pauli. In 1945, the owners were forcibly dispossessed and expelled by the communists. Today, it houses a Brazilian steakhouse.
