Buttelstedt Manor
The Landgraves of Thuringia built a castle in the second half of the 12th century. In 1281, it was mentioned as a Landgrave's castle. At the beginning of the 17th century, the castle was rebuilt, which then burned down in the Thirty Years' War. In 1856, the keep was demolished. Further owners were the Lords of Gottfart.
Today's manor house was built in the 19th century on the site of the castle.
