Gut Brockendorf – A Historic Manor+
Gut Brockendorf is first mentioned in 1116 as property of the Abbey of St. Pantaleon in Cologne. The remains of the moat system, which originated in the Middle Ages, are still recognizable. Brockendorf has been in private ownership since 1809, with the residential building dated by inscription to 1818. Above the entrance is a coat of arms stone with the inscription: "Year 1818 by W. Meller and G. Felder".
