Bockdorf Manor (Kempen)

First mentioned in documents in 1659, the Bockdorf estate consists of a 3-winged, water-surrounded brick complex with a gatehouse from the 18th century. It is a 2-story brick building with a large gate passage and a square superstructure in the middle, the sides being single-story with a mansard roof, round-arch windows, and a hip roof. The farm buildings date from the mid-19th century, the residential house from the late 19th century. It is a 2-story villa with a projecting, 4-story tower with a helmet roof and flat risalits on the sides. The building is constructed of brick with sandstone surrounds and Neo-Renaissance decorative forms. In the garden there is a small half-timbered cottage from the 18th century, which has been relocated here. Also, 2 pairs of gate posts from the 18th and 19th centuries.
