Stovern Castle

The Stovern Manor House was first mentioned around 1230 and is beautifully situated in the middle of the Stovern Forest. On the estate there is a chapel, to which Pope Benedict XIV had already granted privileges. The building, which is also open for viewing two days a month, is still surrounded on three sides by a moat about five meters wide.
