Die Anfänge
Das Schloss wurde 1406 erstmals im Besitz von Johann von Asselt. 1701 ließ Conrad Emanuel von Baexen das Schloss neu erbauen. Im 19. Jahrhundert baute man das Schloss im englischen Tudorstil um. Zwischen 1996 und 2000 wurde das Gebäude saniert.
