Gut Bovenberg+
Gut Bovenberg was built in the 14th century by the knight Bove and was probably the Meierhof (manor farm) of the former Bovenberg Castle, which stood about 1 kilometer away to the south-east in the Bovenberg Forest. Today, only earth walls up to 5 meters high remain of the castle, which conceal the foundations.
The manor was destroyed in World War II and was rebuilt afterwards.
