Wulkow Manor

Herrenhaus Wulkow+
Geschichte+
Das barocke Gutshaus
A baroque estate ensemble forms the village center. Feudal lord Joachim Erdmann von Burgsdorff, district administrator of Lebus, took over the village in 1676. He had the village church built in 1687, the burial chapel in 1695, and finally the manor house in 1697. The von Burgsdorff family remained owners of the estate until 1810. In 1882, the Schulz family bought the Wulkow manor and owned it until 1945. They remodeled the baroque manor house in Neo-Renaissance style and laid out the estate park. Today the building is a ruin.
