Wilhelmsglücksbrunn Manor

History of the Manor House+
A noble estate in Wilhelmsglücksbrunn was first mentioned in 1426, but was destroyed during the German Peasants' War in 1525. It was rebuilt in 1542. In the 18th century, owners of the manor included Duke Johann Wilhelm of Saxe-Eisenach and Joachim Friedrich Freiherr von Beust. In 1842, the building was extended. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed by the communists. Today, it houses a restaurant, a conference center, and a farm shop.
