From Construction to Expropriation
The manor house was built in 1790 by Carl Ludwig von Pfuel. In 1930, the estate was owned by the Kortes family, who redesigned the house in the Neo-Baroque style. In 1945, the owners were expropriated and expelled by the communists.
Current Use
Today, it houses an evangelical deaconess house and the "Haus Kapernaum" residence. There are several sculptures in the garden.
