Herrenhaus Staucha+
Geschichte des Herrenhauses+

Staucha is first mentioned in 1259 as Stuchowe. In 1512, the already existing manor house is mentioned as a knight's estate. The owner at this time was Nikol von Saalhausen. In 1702, the knight's estate was divided into Ober- and Niederstaucha. After this, ownership passed to the von Hartitzsch family. They had the manor house built in 1753-56. After this, ownership passed to the von Kruhm family. At the end of the 19th century, the two knight's estates were reunited. In 1945, the owners were dispossessed and expelled by the communists. After this, the house served, among other things, as a kindergarten.
