Schönweide Manor

History of the Manor+
The manor was owned by the Lords of Rantzau until 1670. From 1693 to 1722, the manor was owned by the Counts Danneskiold-Samsø and subsequently by the von Kurtzrock family. In 1731, a new manor house was built. In 1796, ownership changed to the Amsinck family and in 1813 to the von Hollen family. In 2000, the manor house burned down and was subsequently rebuilt. Today, the manor is owned by the Counts of Westphalen zu Fürstenberg.
