Satjewitz Manor

Das Dorf Satjewitz, from which the manor emerged, was first mentioned in 1433. The single-story plastered wide building with a half-hipped roof was built at the end of the 18th century.

In 1856, the manor was acquired by the von der Marwitz family, who owned it until 1945. During this time, the manor house was extended by a two-story side wing and a tower with a pointed helmet.

After 1945, the manor house served as a residential building and a school. In the 1990s, it was privatized and extensively renovated.

The manor house Satjewitz is a plastered building with a half-hipped roof. The original building from the 18th century is a single-story wide building. The two-story side wing and the tower with a pointed helmet were added in the 19th century.

The facade is structured by simple cornices and window frames. The main entrance is emphasized by a portico with columns.

Inside, some original stucco ceilings and wall paintings have been preserved.

Today, the manor house Satjewitz is privately owned and is used for residential purposes. It is not open to the public.

The manor house is a listed building and is considered an important example of manor house architecture in Brandenburg.
